Stephanie Tomasky (Producer, Writer, Director)

Emmy award winning producer Stephanie Tomasky got her start in television working while still in college as an intern for NBC's "Today Show". After graduating from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in communications, she took a full time position with the "Today Show", working on several travel related projects and the opening of the new "Today Show" studio at Rockefeller center in New York City. Leaving NBC, she joined HBO, where she worked on the premier of "The Chris Rock Show", as well as the 1992 election coverage for "Politically Incorrect With Bill Maher". Marriage took her to Chicago where she produced many hours of prime time television for A&E's Biography Series and The History Channel on subjects ranging from Leonard Peltier and the Wounded Knee uprising, to biographies of Robert Duvall, Graham Kerr, and Suzanne Sommers. An opportunity to produce and direct the first season of "Starting Over", a revolutionary daytime reality series created by Bunim/Murray, the originators of "The Real World", allowed her to use her considerable talents to produce television that truly bettered the lives of the women on the show. For her production and directing work on "Starting Over" she received an Emmy for producing in a Special Class Series. A move to San Francisco brought her to supervise a HGTV show at Edelman Productions where she is finally able to combine her interest in style and design with her talent and experience in producing quality television programming. In a short time she and her husband Mitch (a trauma surgeon at San Francisco General Hospital) have become enamored with the beauty, landscape, style, food and vibe of San Francisco and the bay area.

Randy Barry (Yugar Productions Casting)

After being a cast member on MTV's Real World, Randy got involved working behind the camera casting for such MTV shows as TRL. Now he has brought the casting process to college campuses across the country. "Experiencing the casting process first hand offers students a rare opportunity to learn about themselves and the shows that they love. This campus activity is different from any other that has been offered.  Students always pack these events, and unlike studio castings I've done, every person is involved one on one and gets to go through the process.  I also get a chance to speak to the students before the casting, so I'm able to give them tips and answer questions. Because were casting for so many different shows, people just have fun with it, they think about themselves and what defines them as individuals..."
